Last Weekend

Last weekend Riley and I enjoyed the sunshine! I had to work for a few hours on Saturday so a friend of mine watched Riley. Sunday we went to check out a little beach park in Steilacoom - it was perfect weather and I loved the fact that they had a park, covered picnic area, and outdoor showers! We played for a few hours before heading to a little burger shack on the way home. It was an awesome weekend! Wish it could've been spent with my hubby! 

Day 2 in SLO

Saturday was the day of my friend Ashlee's baby shower, and man was I impressed by the decor!! The girls did such an awesome job, it was so nice to see old friends and catch up a little - as well as finally see Ashlee pregnant in "real life"! I've only ever seen pictures with her two other boys since I lived far away. It was a sweet baby shower!

One of my favorite places came into play - Baileyana Winery. I just love the large grassy area for the kids to run around while I drink amazing wine and catch up with friends. There's really nothing more relaxing on a nice day. We brought along some hula hoops we got at Riley's party and tried to keep them going as long as possible. I'm pretty terrible, but at least I tried!!!

Mommy & Kid Dinner Party

So I'm pretty excited for tonight. It's not often that I cook (because of inexperience really...but I am trying to do it more often!) and it's also not often that I get to hang with one of my fav ladies over drinks and good food, while still doing it in the comfort of a nice home with the kiddos playing together. So tonight I am making homemade white chicken pizza, and peach sangria! Both recipes look entirely delicious.
