Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

Awkward:
- I tried doing the sock bun last night. Woke up hoping for some amazing results. Annnnnd nope. Sock bun fail.
- After washing out the crazy sock bun concoction on my head I attempted to dry my hair and pin curl them the get long lasting curls. Fail again.
- Going to pick up my last paycheck from my other job only for my coworker to tell me that office's manager's dad had just passed away. Wow, um...I don't really know what to say. 
- I was waiting in line at a local sandwich shop to pay for my sandwich, and the girl that was making it went to the register, so I followed her over there to pay since the two people in front me's sandwiches weren't done yet. Only for her to ring them up and leave me standing there like an idiot.
- The fact that all this happened in the same day.

Awesome:
- Three day weekend! WOOHOO! And Monday is a PAID holiday!
- I started my new job this week! Full time, stable pay, yippee!
- Shellac manicures. Best. Thing. EVER. Considering I always chip my manicures the day after.
- Valentine's Day with my BFF. Getting dressed up really fancy, Gourmet hamburgers & beer, a chick flick, complete with flowers and candy!

Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Awkward:
- Running late to class, only to get there and find out that it's a make-up day for missed assignments and I'm already all caught up. Why did I rush to get there???
- Having dreams about the girls behind all the amazing blogs I read. It seems cool because we're like friends, but at the same time I don't know them in real life so dreaming about them is kinda weird at the same time!
- Driving around a test car that smells like a man's cologne. Ummm did you put enough on Hyundai guy that dropped off the car??


Awesome:
- Painting my left hand with nail polish almost as good as my right. Ooooh yeah.
- Going to Seattle tomorrow to see the love of my life! YAY!
- This jacket and scarf type of weather. Serious love.
- FINALLY got my hair done. Thank goodness for my amazing stylist Erica!
- Starbuck's K-Cups. Amazing.

Awkard and Awesome Thursday!

Awkward:
- Me posting this at the end of Thursday, but at least it's still Thursday, right??
- Out on the job and an unexpected visitor arrives. Ahem....the female kind that is. And I'm not prepared.
- All the adults dressed up all cool in their costumes at Farmers Market tonight, except me. The one who usually dresses up for any opportunity. Lame :(
- wearing a sorta see through shirt under my sweater to class yesterday...then having to take off my sweater and try on a muslin shirt to create my bodice pattern...should've worn something else apparently because I felt almost naked.


Awesome:
- Got my new glasses today! Woohoo!
- Taking Riley trick-or-treating at our Farmer's Market. And the stores STILL had candy when we went! (Unlike last year)
- Trader Joe's Pumpkin Ice Cream. YUM!
- Halloween TV specials....then next, CHRISTMAS SPECIALS!!!
- This awesome chilly but not too chilly weather we've been having. It's a rotation of 65 and 70 over here.
- Drinking more tea. Instead of coffee and soda.
