 I love Valentine's Day. Whether you spend it with your significant other, your best friend, or just your family, you can make this day as special as you want it. And everything is pink and red!!! Children's Museum and the Zoo

Since I was stuck at home with Riley on Friday because she wasn't feeling well, I decided to come up with some ideas of fun things to do this weekend. I knew Fan Fest was going on at Safeco Field both days, and as I looked around the Internet for fun things to do in Tacoma, I found that the Children's Museum downtown was based on a Pay as you Will program and we hadn't been there yet. After some more searching, I found out it was also Tacoma Residents Free Day at the Point Defiance Zoo!!! We had such a fun time discovering and playing at the museum, then seeing all the amazing animals at the zoo!

Birthday Wishes

My Birthday is just around the corner!! I can't believe January is almost over. With a Seattle trip in mind for the day of my birthday, a girl can always have some little goodies that she wants to open that day too, right?? ;) Here's what I've been drooling over lately:

Gaga ohh la la...

Well this past week has kinda flown by. All of last week I persistently called a local radio station to win tickets to Lady Gaga. And it paid off cause I won!!! My friend and I drove up to Seattle to pick up the tickets and hung out around town to wait off the awful traffic. Sunday my Seahawks sadly lost the game at 19 seconds in the 4th. Soooo not fair. Moving on...Monday was totally epic, had pizza and wine and got ready at my friends house before taking a cab to the concert. We saw all kinds there...some pretty hilarious get ups! The show was incredible...and long. I didn't get home until late and had to work the next day. I also got a nice large bruise on my leg from dancing like a crazy person in the stands. But I really can't complain...I got to finally see one of my top two concerts I've been dying to see!!!! Next on the list is Taylor Swift...and she's coming here in August ;) I can't wait!

Weekend Love

So this weekend was pretty epic. Last Thursday I won tickets to see Lady Gaga tonight (!!!) did a mini road trip with my friend up to Seattle, while i was there i stopped at Top Pot Doughnuts and Pyramid Brewery. Saturday had a girls night where we drank wine and had our hair done by my awesome friend, and Sunday we watched the heartbreaking but exciting Seahawks game. What an amazing season they had!

We brought in the New Year with some friends of ours, played games, ate delicious homemade Mexican food, drank, and had such a great time. Cheers to 2013! You're gonna be a great year!
