End of Football Season

We are big football fans around here. We love getting our friends together and throwing parties. We love dressing up. In a city that is so faithful and encouraging for an "underdog" team like the Seahawks, how can it not be contagious? Here's some photos from the past few weekends.

The Zombie Run

A few girlfriends and I decided to form a team and do a special 5K in Seattle this weekend. It sounded fun and crazy motivating to have to run from zombies! I'm pretty proud of myself for the progress I made!!! It was a slightly overcast/windy/humid day but it was nice enough out. The run is nationwide and supports programs for military familys, wounded warriors, veterans, and soldiers with PTSD. And it was totally fun! I wish I had some good action shots, but there's some pretty good ones on their website. It was even featured on the news! Pretty rad. I'll be doing another run in the future for sure! Oh and on the way home I finally got to go to Dick's Drive In. It was pretty good, but no comparison to In N Out!

A Weekend in Seattle

Last weekend, my parents flew up for a few days! We had a pretty jam packed weekend including a trip to the Almond Roca factory, a birthday party at thr lake, a Mariners game, the Space Needle, the Museum of Flight, Pikes Place...just to name a few. The trip seemed to fly by but no moment was wasted! Missing them already!

Weekend Love

So this weekend was packed with sun-loving fun. Saturday we went to the local farmers market and the girls got to play in the wading pool they just opened up for the summer. Then we headed to a little three year old's birthday party. I'm honestly surprised Riley didn't take a nap afterwards - it was a busy day! Instead she laid on my bed and watched Yo Gabba Gabba! While I sewed up some cute baby clothes as an introduction to my organic baby line for Hybrid Couture.

Sunday we got up early and headed up to Seattle for the Urban Craft Uprising craft show. We met up with some friends at Top Pot Donuts before heading over there. The craft show wasn't as great as I thought it would be but I did manage to get a few birthday gifts for some friends this week! So that was a plus! After the show my friend and I shared some awesome BBQ then headed on over to the giant fountain at the Seattle Center and fully clothed, me and the two girls ran into the fountain, giggling and squealing. We didn't have bathing suits but these are the moments those girls will remember forever! ;)

It was a nice busy weekend...looking forward to one that's a little more low key this weekend!
