Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras was great! This morning I made Monkey Bread with yellow, purple and green frosting. For dinner I had some friends over for chicken jumbalya and mini king cakes. Then the kids watched Princess and the Frog. It was a nice change to what would just be a typical Tuesday!

Christmas and New Years
I know I'm seriously behind the curb, but we had such a wonderful Christmas and New Years spent with some very good friends of ours. We have been so blessed up here with the people we have met and have turned into extensions of our family.

Easter.
Easter proved to be a glorious day. It was a perfect 70 degrees out, Riley hunted for painted eggs around the house before going through her very stuffed Easter basket (thank you, Grandma Charm and Nana!) then she excitedly put on her Easter dress to head off to church. When we got home another family came over and we made brunch before doing an egg hunt at an old dairy farm down the street. Let me tell you, that hubby of mine is an excellent egg hider!
It was an absolutely perfect Sunday spent with family and friends.
And man, am I glad to be able to update on here again - I know all of my family and friends have been missing my posts!

Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for my incredible husband, who had been nothing but amazing!! He works so hard to give Riley and I a good life. I'm thankful for my healthy beautiful daughter who makes life exciting and fun. I am also thankful for my supportive family, without them I don't know how I would have gotten through the hard times of the past four years. So THANK YOU for being such amazing presences in my life. I love you!
