SLO Swap O Rama

Riley and I had a blast at the Swap O Rama this weekend! Swap O Rama is where you bring a bag of old clothes that you don't wear anymore and have the chance to swap them out for some "new to you" items! You can even embellish them, rework them into another article of clothing, screen print them, etc! They had a station of sewing machines and tons of supplies to add on. Riley made a bracelet, a cape, and a headband! I also got a bag full of goodies. I pretty much grabbed every polka dot item I could find on those tables!

Eco Fashion Show

Last week, Riley and I went to the local Eco Fashion Show at a large coffee shop downtown. I set up my booth and after the initial hour of meeting other vendors, selling products, and for some - getting their drink and eat on, the fashion show started. There was even a Bollywood performance along with traditional belly dancing. It was a great turn out and a fun time! I'm glad I could participate last minute too. Just one of the things I love about small towns!

summer secret: Braids galore! And with those stretchy thick colorful elastic hair bands.

snack: Hummus and pita chips

color: Coral and Turquoise. 

activity: Laying out on the beach. It's close enough, so I'm enjoying every sunshiny minute I can!

I also fully intend on drinking all my summer drinks out of mason jars with pretty straws. Wearing a big floppy hat. And a cute bathing suit.

Tonight I will be selling my designs!! I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this awesome show!

Memorial Day Weekend.

Beach, slip n slide, DJing, playing with friends, park, barbecue with family. A nice, long, relaxing weekend!
