Fathers Day/Live on the Rocks

On Fathers Day my family all went out to a local Italian restaurant for lunch, then we headed down to the beach to watch Live on the Rocks, a monthly summer music installment at a resort. Donovan Frankenreiter was playing so I was super excited to finally see him live! I had heard all about him from a friend of mine. We had a great time!

Sad Day

It's been a long time since I've dealt with the loss of an animal, and I knew this day was coming up soon. Our beloved lab Isabella had to be put down today. It was a struggle to get through the day at work, but I'm so glad she doesn't have to suffer anymore. This last week was really rough for her.

I will miss you so much Izzy, you were a wonderful sweet dog, and Riley absolutely adored you. Thank you for all the memories and blessing our family.

Weekend.

It was a busy but relaxing weekend. Saturday I babysat my friends darling little boys, Riley has grown up with Parker and they always have so much fun together. Riley and I made blueberry muffins on Fathers day before heading out to lunch then live on the rocks at the Cliffs with Donovan Frankenreiter! He was so awesome live! The weather was weird - overcast and muggy - but we still had a great time!

Circus

So a couple weeks ago, the circus came to town and set up their big top just down the street. It was an interesting circus, because it happened to be in Spanish....yeah...anyway, Riley had a blast!! She got to hang out with her friends and enjoy some good old fashioned cotton candy.

Swimming lessons

Since the weather has been getting nicer, I decided now was the perfect time to sign Riley up for swimming lessons! She is having so much fun with it! She will literally wake up and the first thing she says is "swimming lessons" with a smile. I crack up every time!

We have also been sneaking in trips to to the beach and walks on the trail to the beach here and there. It's been too nice not to!

Remnants of the Past and Car Show

On Sunday, the whole fam went to two shows at the Madonna Inn. I checked out the vintage show Remnants of the Past with my mom, getting ideas for my upcoming wedding. I found the most darling coffee cup and tray set in black and white - at an awesome price! So happy I snatched that up!! After that show, we went down the hill to check out the Concours D'Elegance car show. Lots of fun at both shoes, and the weather was awesome!

You make the whole world a better place. I have never felt so comfortable to be myself, felt so secure, or crazy in love as I have with you. You have blessed my life beyond words, and I am incredibly thankful every day. You continue to amaze me with your many talents, and in just a few short months we will finally be together all the time! I love you babe, I hope your day is wonderful!
