Engagements

Last Weekend we had our long overdue engagement party with friends and family. It was hosted by a wonderful friend of ours at the winery she works at, Sausalito Canyon. It was the perfect venue, the atmosphere was perfect, the decor was beautiful and rustic which gave that relaxing feel to a group coming together to celebrate. I had a friend's food truck deliver gourmet sandwiches and french fries. My father and Rocky's stepdad Bryson both made wonderful and touching speeches. It was so nice to have so many people come out to our party! My amazing Maid of Honor Lana took all the wonderful pictures :) I am so blessed to have her in my life!

Weekend

It was easily an amazing weekend. I picked up Rocky from the airport on Thursday, on Friday I spent the day in Santa Barbara with him, my family, and his family. Saturday we went cake tasting, did our engagement shoot, and picked out the tuxes for the wedding. Sunday we went to Mothers Day brunch at my favorite restaurant, went beer tasting at a local brewery, and had our engagement party that evening! Everything was so perfect, and then Rocky had to leave today to go back to Washington. I'm missing him like crazy!! I can't wait to see and share all the awesome pictures from this weekend :)

Randoms

Some pictures taken over the week - going to the park stopping for a "lipstick" break, playing catch, seeing a beautiful sunset, getting my blonde on, voodoo donuts brought back by my momma! Riley hanging around and playing on her little laptop.

I am so excited for tomorrow. I get to FINALLY see Rocky!!! We have so much wedding planning to do this weekend too! Love love love!

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo was a lot of fun. I met up with a few friends and their kids at Baileyana winery and we soaked up the sun and drank delicious wine while the kids ran around after each other of flew kites. For lunch we went to a local Mexican restaurant and I had an enchilada and a margarita. Dinner was my dad's famous tacos as we call then, we drank corona and listened to the Cinco de Mayo playlist on Pandora. It was a gorgeous day with lots of fun!

Karmic Pizza Happy Hour

Yesterday, I met up with a few of my friends and their kids at Marisol restaurant at The Cliffs Resort. Every Thursday they put on Karmic Pizza during happy hour, where you can eat unlimited pizza and pasta with the purchase of a drink. The place was packed, and fortunately we were able to get a table. Our drinks took a while so the server sweetly brought us a free round of margaritas! And let me tell you...they were some pretty darn good margaritas! Obviously we all had a blast, chatted then walked the short distance to mg friends house to hang out for a little bit. I'd say it was an awesome Thursday!!!

One week.

One week until I FINALLY get to see the love of my life. It's been much too long. This is the longest I've gone without (physically) seeing him!!! I'm hoping for gorgeous weather and even though our weekend will be packed, that we will have some time in between to just "be" with each other!
