Christmas was so wonderful...we had Honeybaked turkey for Christmas Eve Dinner, Riley and I made cookies for Santa, we checked out a large park decorated with lights while drinking hot coco, and we watched endless amounts if Christmas movies. All weekend long with my little family and my mother in law. So blessed!

So it snowed last night. And I instantly turned into a five year old. I yelled for my daughter to come downstairs. We put on our jackets and rainboots and played in the snow for an hour. My husband made a mini snowman and snowballs which he threw at us. Riley made snowballs until her hands were too cold. It was SO MAGICAL!

On Friday, even though my poor baby girl has been trying to kick this cold, we traveled down to SLO to help my mom with the surprise party she was throwing for my dad. Not only was it a success and a total surprise that Riley and I were there, she even popped out of a wrapped box with enthusiasm and said "Happy Birthday Pop!" What a darling girl! Dad was overwhelmed with love and emotion. I was so blessed to be able to spend time with my family, even for the short time.
